The ability to convey your message clearly, confidently and persuasively is key if your audience is to be won over, be that online or in person, be that one to one or one to many, the requirement to communicate effectively and cut through the noise has never been greater.
This PITCH PERFECT Masterclass offers a targeted, intense and in-depth level of coaching to help you develop the skills necessary to become an outstanding presenter.
“Jay is undoubtedly one of the most knowledgeable resources I have encountered about delivering keynote speeches in the UK with authenticity and integrity. I would HIGHLY recommend both him and his work.”
Although I tell the story of how I ‘Fell’ into public speaking quite by accident, perhaps the full truth is that this was simply an act of fate!
I’m the eldest of 4 siblings, and born into a house for a number of years didn’t own a TV! Not because we couldn’t afford one, but because theatre and music were the means of entertainment.
I chose to take up a music instrument at the age of 7, and had already performed in my first ‘public’ performance (besides family and friends) before I was 8. My 13th birthday was playing at a ‘gig’ and by 15 we had a manager, were working through an agency and earning more money per night, than most other school kids earnt in a month from their part time jobs!
I’m fortunate enough to have attended a ‘Theatre’ School, and under the exceptional guidance of Mick Flowers, Kate Lake, Oliver Penrice learnt from 11 years old the art of theatre and stage craft.
You might say, it’s in my blood
So when ‘fate’ determined rather than sitting in the audience listening to the speaker I had come to listen to, I found myself ‘in at the deep end’ volunteering to stand in because he was unable to continue, the rest as they say is history!
The biggest problem I find with many others who enter the profession of speaking, is they fail to give due consideration to the ART of speaking.
Whilst MANY have a voice, far fewer are worth listening to!
And of those worth listening to, even less, value the opportunity beyond a paycheck!
To become a professional speaker you have to spend time giving consideration to 3 things:
- The Audience
- The Content
- The Speaker
On this HIGHLY interactive masterclass, everyone attending gets the opportunity to have their presentation dissected, reviewed, polished and repurposed so as they leave, they have the knowledge and confidence to deliver a keynote worthy of the audiences time and attention, steeped in value and with a clear map as to why, when and what!
